Office 2007 – so far so good…
Posted in Uncategorized on November 21, 2006 | Leave a Comment »
Well, I installed Office 2007 on Monday, and so far everything is working really well. Since 95% of my work day is spent inside Office, and not a compiler, I figured this would be a good test. At first things seemed to run a bit slow, but it sped up after maybe ten minutes and [...]

I did it! I completed the 5K Tulsa Run this morning and did better than my goal! My goal was 35 minutes and I did it in 30 minutes and 42 seconds. The event was a ton of fun — there were several thousand people competing. I’m definately going to keep running in 5K’s. And, [...]

It focus’ on several teachers that I have admired for some time: John Piper, RC Sproul, and Al Mohler. I love the emphasis on teaching solid doctrine. So many of our church’s miss this. There is a description [...]
What a crazy year!

This has been an extremely crazy year for me professionally. First of all, my company announced last March that it was going to look into outsourcing all of IT to another firm. This, of course, sent the entire department into a state of frenzy and a lot of people left. I decided to wait it [...]
Paper or Plastic?

This article was included in the weekly update from Plain Truth Ministries today, and it really grabbed me. How often and I concerned with “paper or plastic”, or the jar of clay, and get my sights off of the treasure that is inside? I get so wrapped up in things like beginning of time or [...]
